Your 'redirects'[edit]

Hi there, I'm Sean - one of the sysops here on WikiIndex.

Thank you for your valued input, it is greatly appreciated. I have noticed a potential problem with articles that you edit into a redirect, and create a new article (of the same wiki) under a new name. Your most recent example is here. We should not do this, as it can breach the terms of our CC-BY-SA licence – as it breaks the attribution trail. We should actually just 're-name' an existing page by using the 'move' tab at the top of the page; this then maintains the full edit history of the article, and therefore also maintains the necessary attribution.

I also note you are forgetting to fill in the 'edit summary' when saving your edits. Can you please remember to add an edit summary for your future edits, as this helps to identify page changes in our recent changes.

If you need any assistance or further clarification, please leave a message on my talk page, or on the talk page of any other active members of our community. Best regards. Sean, aka Hoof HeartedAdmin / 'Crattalk2HH 13:24, 5 March 2018 (PST)

Yeah, sorry about that if it bacomes a problem. It's just that I create the page first and then saw that were already a page for it and decided to make a redirect to the more appropriate name. But if in the future I'll be sure to do it the other way around :)
As for edit summaries, I know I should do that better. --Raltseye (talk) 02:38, 6 March 2018 (PST)

Please see [[1]].

I did some changes to Splatoon 2 Wiki to indicate the direction. There is certainly room for improvement. --Manorainjan 13:25, 30 March 2018 (PDT)

Good enough so far I suppose. I guess we should have it as wiki engine too. --Raltseye (talk) 22:56, 11 August 2018 (UTC)
