WikiFoundry, Inc., a former wiki company, was founded in 2013 by Travis Derouin, previously of wikiHow.com.[1]
In July 2013, WikiFoundry purchased a collection of wiki sites from Wetpaint that were known as 'Wikis by Wetpaint'.[2] It will be the goal of WikiFoundry to continue to develop and innovate on this platform, and support internet users across the world in their quest to create content.
Since the summer of 2013, WikiFoundry had made a large number of improvements to the platform, such as the reintroduction of mass messaging and wiki creation, numerous bug fixes and performance enhancements. We expect 2014 to be an even more exciting year for the service!
WikiFoundry, Inc. was headquartered in Ancaster, Ontario, Canada. The main support and meta wiki is found at WikiFoundry Central (WikiFoundryCentral.com). New WikiFoundary wikis could be created directly from create.WikiFoundry.com. All hosted wikis released their content under only one wiki licence; the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial Share-Alike 3.0 unported license (CC-BY-NC-SA 3.0).
