The Web 2.0 Awards, published by SEOmoz, were annual awards of recognition of various categories and types of software and / or websites for their compliance with the Web 2.0 standards. First created in 2006, they were significant within the wikisphere due to one of the award categories being ' Wikis (Hosted)' (renamed 'Hosted Wikis' from 2007).
