PlusPedia - ein freies Wiki und Informationssammlung auf Deutsch und aus Deutschland. Die PlusPedia ist als Antwort auf die zähen Diskussionen bei der Deutsche Wikipedia entstanden.
Ursprünglich betrat das Projekt das WWW als Wiki-Waste. Im Dezember 2009 wurde es zu PlusPedia umbenannt.
Die Ziele des Projektes sind:
- gelöschte Artikel bei der Wikipedia zu retten
- Enzyklopädische Begriffe zu definieren und hierfür eigene Artikel zur Verfügung zu stellen
- Wikipedia irrelevante Begriffen eine Plattform zu bieten.
Diese Ziele werden erreicht durch:
- Verzicht auf Relevanzkriterien
- Eine überschaubare Anzahl von Regeln für die Erstellung eines Artikels
- Verzicht auf langatmige Löschdiskussionen
- Benutzung von Mediawiki, der gleichen Software, die auch Wikipedia benutzt.

PlusPedia - a free wiki and database of information in German and from Germany. PlusPedia saves deleted article pages from the German Wikipedia encyclopaedia, and is a German equivalent of Deletionpedia.
In contrast to the Deletionpedia, PlusPedia articles can be edited, and PlusPedia keeps on restoring them. PlusPedia has already restored more than 13,000 items. Pluspedia has saved most articles of all active 'Deletionpedias' in German language.
Further, PlusPedia allows almost all kinds of articles. There are just a few simple rules which are not allowed:
- copyrighted material
- insulting text
- forbidden material
- material without any information.
Until December 2009, PlusPedia was known as Wiki-Waste. It was renamed to PlusPedia, because the new name sounds more convenient.
